Let's fight hunger
Nourishing Our Community
At Catholic Charities Community Services of Rockland, we believe in ensuring everyone has access to nutritious food, without any barriers. Our Food Pantry, located at 78 Hudson Avenue in Haverstraw, NY, welcomes all who need assistance.
Before your first visit, please visit our office to complete a brief registration process. You will need to bring an original ID for everyone in your household and an additional proof of address (housing agreement, utility bill, etc.).

Cultivating Growth in our Community Garden of Love.
With the assistance of Rockland County's Cornell Cooperative Education Master Gardener program, our Garden of Love was built in 2010. The food grown adds to the food purchased and received as donations to help our neighbors facing food insecurity put fresh, nutritious food on the table.

We are blessed to receive donations from various generous sources:
Food Bank of Hudson Valley
We receive surplus yet edible food, helping to ensure that no good food goes to waste.
Local Food Drives
Parishes throughout Rockland contribute non-perishable items, stocking our shelves.
Rockland’s Get Fresh Program
Thanks to this initiative, we receive over 30,000 pounds of fresh produce monthly, shared with local food banks and soup kitchens.
Private Donations
Every dollar donated helps us provide four meals to families in need. Your generosity makes a significant impact.
