2025 Hearts of Gold Gala

The Catholic Charities Community Services of Rockland Hearts of Gold Gala took place on Wednesday, June 18th, 2025, at Town and Country in Congers, NY. This special evening was a celebration of parishioners across the County who have gone above and beyond in helping others—demonstrating genuine ‘hearts of gold.’ At this signature event, we honored their dedication and compassion while gathering in support of our vital programs that serve our neighbors in need.

CCCSR has been assisting Rocklanders with food insecurity and housing issues for nearly 30 years. We have an on-site garden and food pantry to help ensure individuals receive the food they need as well as fresh produce to put on the table. The money raised for the gala goes directly to help individuals and families in need across Rockland.

2025 Blessing of the Soil

On Saturday, May 3rd, CCCSR hosted the 16th annual Blessing of the Soil event to begin another growing season in our Community Garden of Love. The theme of the event was "From Seed to Supper” as Catholic Charities grows our own fresh produce on site to help those in need receive fresh vegetables to serve their families.


Thank you so much to everyone who joined us for a lovely early spring day! We look forward to celebrating with you all again this time next year, and for many more years to come!

2024 Hearts of Gold Gala

“It was our honor to celebrate so many special individuals who give back to others through their Parish communities. This was the second time we asked the local Parish priests to identify their own Parish members for this recognition and I’m proud to say it is now a tradition that the entire Rockland community looks forward to,” stated Dan Eudene, Executive Director of Catholic Charities Community Services of Rockland.


The 2024 Hearts of Gold Gala last June was an enormous success acknowledging the hard work of 13 members of Rockland County Parishes for their “hearts of gold.” The honorees were nominated by their respective Pastors for their dedication and commitment to their own parish ministry.
